MOVING HOME CHECKLIST:

Go through every room of your house and decide what you want to keep and what you can get rid of
Throw out all unwanted and useless items that you won’t use in your new home
If you are moving major appliances, make sure that they are cleaned and ready to go
Go to your children’s school and arrange for documents to be transferred to their new school, if applicable
Apply for the cancellation/transfer of any services you have subscribed to, such as television, phone and broadband, and newspapers
Confirm that your address has changed and that all mail will be sent to your new home
