We hoped Michael Garretts would be able to move us from Northampton to Brixham, store our furniture etc and eventually deliver it to our renovated bungalow. Because our purchaser was going to pull out if we didn't move before Christmas, (we were planning on January), in the end Michael Garretts were unable to move our belongings. However, they were able to store them and eventually deliver everything. We messed them about somewhat with possible moving dates and throughout they were very accommodating and helpful. They did an excellent job and we would recommend them.

Although the delivery persons were careful, pleasant and helpful i was disappointed that the price for delivery and storage had more than doubled from the original estimate. This was despite giving them an itemised inventory complete with dimensions of the furniture and number of boxes to be stored and informing them that it was 2 Mercedes sprinter vans full. I was only informed of the price increase after my furniture was in storage and obviously had no choice but to pay the revised price because my furniture was in storage despite raising the issue with them.

Exceptional service from Michael Garrett Removals and Storage. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone. They weren't the cheapest quote we received, but they were the most comprehensive and ressuring. Everything was included including boxes & they even dismantled the bed and reassembled it at the other end. What a relief to not have to construct the bed after moving!  We chose to have the packing service and what a good decision that was. The team efficiently & carefully packed far quicker than we could have done. Definitely a service worth having!  We had some of our possessions taken to the new house but the majority went into storage where they stayed for 6 months. It was reassuring knowing they were being stored in purpose built facilities & fully covered by insurance. Having everything delivered out of storage was efficient & easy & everything was in perfect condition.  I can't recommend highly enough.

I have used Michael Garrett on several occasions & have used both their house removal service & the storage of furniture option. Their quotes are always competitive and all of the staff are totally professional throughout, from the office staff through to the removal men. They always arrive on time, are always polite and will do anything that they can to make sure you are happy with your move. Careful with your furniture too, and goods are always wrapped well- pictures wrapped in padded bags. The staff are totally trustworthy & on one occasion a ring was found on the floor which my father had dropped whilst preparing for his move. This was handed in to me straight away.  I would have no hesitation in recommending them and would use them again
